Pure Structures has joined over a hundred engineering companies by signing a declaration vowing to raise awareness, advocate for change and share knowledge on the climate emergency.
We welcome this initiative and are committed to minimising our carbon footprint not only in the impact of our structural engineering design but in our offices as well.
Buildings and construction play a major part in the climate emergency, accounting for nearly 40% of energy-related carbon dioxide emissions whilst also having a significant impact on our natural habitats.
We are prepared for the challenges involved in advocating for the climate and the adjustments we will have to make to our practices, and we hope to bring this enthusiasm to our clients and peers.
